Nearly 1,000 miles of Baja Sur

One loop, one state, and the start and finish in the heart of San José del Cabo.

The 59th SCORE Baja 1000 runs a loop of nearly 1,000 miles entirely within Baja California Sur: up the East Cape, across toward La Paz and Loreto, and back down the Pacific side through Todos Santos to the finish in San José del Cabo. More than 250 teams from around the world are expected.

Race week is as much about the atmosphere as the race itself. Trucks, buggies and bikes line Avenida Centenario for tech inspection and contingency, sponsors and music fill the streets of the old town, and the celebration builds as teams cross the finish line.

“The race of a lifetime, starting at your doorstep.”
