59th edition · San José del Cabo · November 9–15, 2026
For the first time ever, the world’s most famous off-road race starts and finishes in San José del Cabo. Stay close to the action, from tech inspection to the checkered flag.

The 59th SCORE Baja 1000 runs a loop of nearly 1,000 miles entirely within Baja California Sur: up the East Cape, across toward La Paz and Loreto, and back down the Pacific side through Todos Santos to the finish in San José del Cabo. More than 250 teams from around the world are expected.
Race week is as much about the atmosphere as the race itself. Trucks, buggies and bikes line Avenida Centenario for tech inspection and contingency, sponsors and music fill the streets of the old town, and the celebration builds as teams cross the finish line.
Contingency is the moment to see the race vehicles up close, meet the teams and feel the energy of race week in downtown San José del Cabo.
